Farmhouse at Batwa Farm at Matanda

FARMHOUSE AT BATWA FARM AT MATANDA

Construction work has begun on the new farmhouse at the Batwa Farm at Matanda [near Kihihi].  Generous donors have provided the funds for the construction of the planned and needed farmhouse.  Everyone is grateful for the support of caring people!

 During the planting and harvest activities the Batwa families must travel from their homes to the farm.  The new farmhouse will allow some members to remain at the farm.  The new facility will also provide storage space for farming equipment, supplies and even storage of some harvested crops.

 Every month brings new proof that Batwa farm is a growing success.  We are very hopeful for continued success for the Batwa families, planted crops and future harvests!
