Women in Gorilla Conservation - next steps!

The Omotani Caring Foundation has donated funds to support the purchase of a new Singer sewing machine, a sweater sewing machine, fabric, thread and other materials to support the project. These first, next steps, will allow the women to develop increased independence for themselves and their families.

o This program was started in 2020 by Robinah Gangiriba, and has currently more than 50 members. They are all women of underprivileged backgrounds o They make handicrafts (baskets, clothing, and other items) and also perform music/dance/drama. o Click here to learn more.
